MEMORY & MATTER

    It's a conversation between childhood / past and present, transposing memories, emotions from the past into something material! You can't live without memory. Without wanting, we always return to our past, and an archive of memories or tactile objects can awaken new sensations and new connections. This creates us, supports us, takes us further. If we keep the past, that makes us have a future. That is why I began to look in this direction of memory, to dig deep-a means by which to translate outside how the world is seen from within my own consciousness.

  I started by using matter - mass, volume, structure, quantity, energy ... many of the elements that surround us and can be felt with the help of our sense organs.

  I really like the game of textures, combinations of materials or the game of light and shadow. Transmitted through vibration, the energy of contrasts, I can create a tension there!

  I like to choose the format of the works according to the theme or concept : the circle is a powerful form, the first thing you see is the form itself. It is the symbol of the universe, of the balance, of the eternal return, of the cyclicality that is found in nature in the form of the seasons, the days, the phases of the month, being found even at the cellular level.  An Initial Journey, the original perfection, the Ego.
