MEMORY & MATTER
The square signifies the earth, stability, matter. The four sides are anchored at the four cardinal points. It is a static figure but it gives birth to the rhythm. In nature it is represented by the four spaces (cardinal points), the four seasons. It is the base on which the peak then rises, building the pyramid, symbol of perfection. The square is also a symbol of the closed mind and of the primal instincts that pertain to the earth. The square gives vitality and stability, is a good revitalizing and invigorating of the body. It is a good remedy for uprooted, unstable, changing beings.
